The Medium Pressure Ejector performs three critical functions: 1) Locates and secures the compressed air discharge nozzle, 2) Contains Mechanical Isolation Valve (Butterfly) and Actuator that prevents charge air from back flowing out inlet duct under boosted conditions and 3) Contains over-boost “pop-off” valve which prevents accidental over-pressurization of inlet tract.
